1. About the program
The Little Hill Design Community Grant ("the Grant") provides eligible nonprofit organizations with Little Hill Design services at reduced rates. The Grant is funded by setting aside [5%] of revenue from for-profit client invoices.
2. Eligibility
Organizations recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS, including 501(c)(3) organizations, serving [Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties]. [List any exclusions, e.g. political campaigns, organizations that discriminate, fiscal sponsorship rules.]
3. Trust-based verification
Access to grant pricing on our website requires an EIN and email address. We do not verify EINs automatically. Before work begins we may request documentation, such as an IRS determination letter, and may decline or revise grant pricing if eligibility cannot be confirmed.
4. Applying and approval
Submitting a plan through the nonprofit plan builder is an application, not a guarantee of grant pricing. We review applications [monthly] and respond within [10 business days]. Approval depends on eligibility, scope, our capacity and available grant funds.
5. Grant pricing
Approved organizations receive [30%] off our standard rates for Little Hill Design services, as shown in the plan builder. Grant pricing does not apply to third-party costs, including printing, advertising spend, wire distribution fees, stock licenses, permits and travel outside our service area, which are billed at cost.
6. Full grants
Each year we may award services at no cost to [one or two] organizations, selected by application on criteria we publish in advance.
7. Term and renewal
Grant pricing applies to the agreed scope for [12 months] from approval and may be renewed on request.
8. Accuracy
If information provided to obtain grant pricing is inaccurate, we may end grant pricing and invoice the difference between grant and standard rates for work already delivered.
9. Recognition
With your permission, we may name your organization as a grant recipient and share examples of the work.
10. Changes
We may change or end the Grant at any time. Changes won't affect signed agreements for approved work.
